International Information: India
Thanks to the funding from The Scottish Government's Fresh Talent Initiative, a team from India and a team from China will come to the UK to compete alongside the UK and Irish teams.
Teams must comprise of 4 team members with skillsets in programming or art and will be joined by a 5th UK Student Ambassador team member (arranged by the Dare organising team).
Benefits
- 10 weeks funded placement (with an allowance of £170 per person per week) at a UK based Dare to be Digital host centre
- Team budget of £200
- Return flights to the UK
- Accommodation free of charge
- The appointed Student Ambassador is able to share cultural differences and introduce them to the sights and sounds of their region
- Each team is appointed a host centre based 'Buddy' from their home country to help integrate the team into the lifestyle and culture of the country
