The beautiful pre-rendered animations lovingly produced by Evil Machines Creative Department proved too big to physically load into a Java virtual machine. Our response was to enlist the Evil Machines Tools Department to develop a real-time palette switching technique to reduce the number of images dramatically.
More than 6 weeks gone and less than 4 weeks left. The objective for Evil Machines Technical Department for this week is to have a "playable game" just as it has been the previous two weeks. The initially optimistic plan was first replaced by a "realistic" plan, and now a desperate one.
It's still not a game, but the writhing, bloody death animations are a lot of fun to see...
