Dare to be Digital in Northern and Republic of Ireland
Host Centre
Trinity College, Dublin, is one of the oldest universities in the British Isles, and the oldest in Ireland.
Founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth 1st, the College is in an enviable position in the very heart of Ireland's capital. One of the leading visitor attractions, the Book of Kells is housed on the campus, and Trinity itself is within walking distance of shops, other major visitor attractions, theatres, cinemas, museums and libraries.
Standing on a self contained site, the College itself covers some 35 acres of cobbled squares and green spaces surrounded by buildings which represent the accumulated architectural riches of nearly three centuries.
The prime city centre location means its adjacent to Grafton Street and Temple Bar. Sample Dublin's unique atmosphere & stroll back to your accommodation.
The accommodation available within the campus reflects the various architectural periods through which the College has been in existence. The rooms range from older traditional student style accommodation in buildings of character, right up to modern buildings where the rooms have private bathroom facilities.
The City of Dublin
Famous for its literary tradition, Ireland's capital has been home to writers from Jonathan Swift to William Butler Yeats and James Joyce. Dublin allows you to explore both the historical and the hip, from castles and churches to cafés and clubs. Those in search of the perfect pint need look no further than one of Dublin's thousand pubs. The vibrant city life brims with traditional Irish culture and trendy European cool - all set against the backdrop of its stunning coastline.
